The Pienas LT plant started operating in the summer of 2016. Initially, it used to process milk into cream, whey, casein, lactose, and milk protein concentrate. As of January 2017, the company started manufacturing other dry high-added value dairy products exclusively for export markets. The plant produces whey protein powder, micellar casein, milk protein powder, milk filtrate powder, and pasteurised cream from raw milk using the most advanced technologies.
Description and solution
An ozonation solution has been installed for the disinfection of industrial water. The goal: to achieve a bacteriological result of 3 log. The system is fully automated and does not require additional operational support.
