In the very heart of Nida resort, near the shore of the Curonian Lagoon and the Kernagis monument, there is a town sewage pumping station, which, especially on hot summer days, disturbed holidaymakers, and residents with an unpleasant odour. The problem of odours has been eliminated with the installation of an odour removal system for underground sewage pumping stations. In this case, ozone is supplied directly to the cavity of the sewage pumping station. The ozonation equipment is installed next to the pumping station and an ozone sensor is installed in the cavity. The system operates continuously and prevents the spread of unpleasant odours by destroying them while still in the pump cavity, when ozone oxidizes odour-causing molecules such as hydrogen sulphide, mercaptans, methane, and so on.
Ozone production: up to 3 g/h
